From the beginning of my employment at AO in May of 2022, I quickly learned that I would be passionate about my work because I get to help protect families and provide them with financial security. Our products and services offer peace of mind and protection in case of unexpected events, and it's fulfilling to know that I am making a positive impact on people's lives. Additionally, I enjoy the challenge of constantly learning and improving my skills to become a better advisor and help my clients make informed decisions.  I was drawn to American Income Life because of their strong commitment to serving union members. As someone who values the importance of collective bargaining and workers' rights, I felt that I could align with the company's values and mission. Additionally, the opportunity to earn both personal production and management contracts was very appealing, as it provided me with the potential for financial growth and stability in the long-term.

My favorite part of being involved in AO is the sense of community and support that I feel from my colleagues and superiors. The company culture emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, and there are always resources available to help me improve my skills and achieve my goals. Additionally, I appreciate the flexibility of being able to work from home and manage my own schedule, which allows me to balance my work and personal life more effectively.I have grown both professionally and personally. Professionally, I have honed my communication and sales skills, learned how to effectively manage my time and prioritize tasks, and gained a deeper understanding of the insurance industry and the needs of union members. Personally, I have become more self-disciplined and organized, and have learned how to overcome challenges and setbacks in a constructive manner. Overall, my experience at AO has helped me develop a strong work ethic and a growth mindset that I can apply to all areas of my life.

 

When I joined AO back in August of 2022, the very first thing I learned when I began to work with clients is that EVERYONE, no matter how big or small, needs peace of mind and protection. It is incredibly difficult on a family not only emotionally but also financially when a loved one passes away – It brings me happiness to be able to provide these families with some form of relief somewhere on the latter.

The support system here at AO is amazing, you are consistently recognized for your effort and contributions and I love that I do not have to prospect my friends or my family to build and sustain my business. They also offer an amazing retirement plan, invested for life on renewals after 10 years – which I have personally taken advantage of!

Another big reason why I have decided to continue my career here at AO is because of the environment, my co-workers and my superiors are considered family, we all treat each other with enormous amounts of respect and gratitude, it doesn’t even feel like work to me.

Working with so many people has given me a window into my client's personal affairs and through that I have been able to build a foundation of trust, integrity and credibility. I have a better respect and understanding for my clients and it humbles me in my day-to-day life.

 

Since joining the company in April 2020, I’ve gained the ability to not only push my limits, but also to believe in myself. AO has opened the doors to many opportunities for me. I get to wake up every day and go to sleep knowing that I’m putting in the work to protect the families who are vulnerable in our society. It has not only given me the freedom to allow myself to take as many vacation days as I pleased – but it also gave me the ability to earn money while travelling the world. There are no limitations put on your potential to earn and thrive in the environment. AO has opened a clear sight of a secure future for not only me but for so many others where we don’t have to worry about our dreams diminishing or not being achieved. To have the ability to work with so many families from the comfort of my own home and provide them with protection has been indescribably amazing.
